Meet Beth Maloney

Beth is the Director of Horses and Courses Ltd and Thurleigh Equestrian Centre.
She gained her degree Equine Studies at Coventry University and Warwickshire College of Agriculture and then went on to achieve a Masters in Business with the Open University.
Beth has a wealth of experience in teaching and coaching. Beth is also a qualified teacher, having lectured in equine studies in various equine colleges. Beth holds the BHS AI and BHS Intermediate Certificate (BHSIISM) and NLP Calm Coaching Diploma qualification. Beth is passionate about personal development through horsemanship.
Beth began her equine career at the renowned Catherston Stud with the Olympic dressage rider, Jennie Loriston-Clarke and began her career training and riding dressage horses for clients in the UK and Europe.
Beth has worked as an Assistant Principal, Director and Lecturer in various Land-based FE/HE Colleges, and whilst lecturing, Beth wrote various textbooks on equine physiology and nutrition.
Beth also spent 6 years working for the Independent Schools Inspectorate as a Lead Inspector for Private Colleges and currently acts as an External Quality Assessor for British Horse Society qualifications.
Alongside these roles, she set up Horses & Courses Ltd in 1999, an equine home study training company and was non-executive Director for Participation at the British Equestrian Federation for two terms.
In 2012 Beth set up Thurleigh Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire as a centre of excellence and a welcoming community where horses and people learn, grow, and thrive together in a horse-centred environment.
