We offer one to one coaching in flatwork and dressage training to riders aged 18 years old and over and with existing riding experience on our Spanish and Warmblood dressage school master horses.
Our ethos is about developing an understanding and appreciation of how the horse works and build harmony between horse and rider. We coach our riders to understand how their body, balance and aids influence the horse and help them to develop their understanding of riding technique and build the skills they need to enable them to work in balance and harmony with the horse.
We also have 5 livery spaces for full or assisted livery and Thurleigh Equestrian Centre prides itself on being able to offer a bespoke and friendly service where livery owners and horses can experience a personal approach. Our superb range of indoor and outdoor arenas, sand turnout pens, solarium and horse walker are available to all our livery clients along with lessons on site with our instructors and visiting trainers.
Beth Maloney, Director of Thurleigh Equestrian Centre, has extensive experience of working with a wide variety of horses, having trained with Jennie Loriston Clarke at Catherston stud and headed up equine departments in large land-based colleges. Beth has also worked as a director at the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) and has published various equine books. She is a BHS Accredited Professional Coach, holds the BHSII (SM) and Calm Coaching certificate.
